I'm 33 years old.

My real name is Luc Lachance, but most people call me Lou. Those who know me knows that I enjoy making videos and playing Dek Hockey. What many people don't realize, however, is how much I love listening to music.

Back in high school, a classmate once pointed out that I was always listening to music he had never heard before. It made me smile because, at the time, I didn't really have the best method. I would simply let music channels on YouTube play and write down any songs that caught my attention. Whether I was at work, doing homework, driving, or listening through my Google Home while cleaning or doing the dishes, music has always been part of my daily life. Along the way, I've discovered artists from many different genres and gradually expanded my musical horizons.

 

I've always loved stumbling upon a song I had never heard before.

Music is constantly evolving, just like we are. While we're listening to our favorite songs, new artists are appearing everywhere, often before we even notice them.

This website is simply my way of sharing some of the discoveries, moods, and playlists that have accompanied me through different moments of life. This site has no commercial purpose. So why did I create it? Largely because of my sister, Véronik.

 

You may understand that a little better as you explore some of these playlists. Each one includes a short description explaining its story, inspiration, or the moment in life that helped shape it. Ever since I subscribed to Spotify and SoundCloud, I've enjoyed creating playlists of all kinds. I like completely changing the vibe depending on the moment, my mood, or the energy of the day. If some of these playlists resonate with you, that's great. If they don't, that's perfectly fine too. The goal isn't to tell anyone what to listen to, nor to suggest that this music is better than anyone else's. It's simply a collection of music, atmospheres, and memories that have accompanied part of my life.

And if any of these playlists help you discover something new, feel something meaningful, or simply feel a little more alive, then this website will have served its purpose.
