I’m 32 years old.

My real name is Luc LaChance, but people call me Lou. Those who know me well are aware of my passion for making videos and playing Dek Hockey. But what they don’t always realize is how much more I love listening to music.

When I was 14, a classmate once asked me, "How do you always find such good music?" The truth is, I simply pick a music channel on YouTube and let it play—whether I’m driving, doing chores at home, or just relaxing. These channels helped me discover new artists within specific genres and expand my musical library. Whenever a song caught my attention, I’d got it down right away.

I’ve always loved the thrill of discovering a song before it becomes a radio hit. Life moves fast, and we evolve as individuals every year… and so does music! Without realizing it, while you’re enjoying your favorite songs, tons of new artists are making their debut. That’s why I created this site—to help you discover new music, just like I do.

This website is completely non-profit, so why do I do it? It’s actually a favor for my sister Véronik. You’ll find out why in one of my playlists. In fact, each playlist comes with a short description explaining the idea behind it and what inspired me.

Ever since I subscribed to Spotify and SoundCloud, I’ve had a blast curating playlists of all kinds. I love changing them up depending on my mood, and if it brings you the same kind of joy, then my mission is accomplished!

And why "Grapefruit"?
