We all have our little addictions. Some are loud, impossible to ignore. Others slip in quietly, almost unnoticed. For some, it’s a cigarette in the morning, a coffee they can’t skip, or a drink they take without thinking. Others get lost in video games or screens, chasing a thrill or a pause. Some dive into pornography, or anything that fills a void without realizing it.
And for me, mine is music. The one we call : Lofi house. It's not just listening, but feeling it—letting a track play on repeat until it becomes part of the air I breathe. Like them, I always come back to it because it soothes me, accompanies me, gives rhythm to my days, gets me hooked.
It’s not a weakness. It’s not necessarily dangerous. It’s just… human. We all seek something that centers us, makes us feel alive, fills that moment when the world pauses. Recognizing your addictions is recognizing what keeps you going, what holds you upright. And maybe the real challenge isn’t to eliminate them, but to know them, understand them, and see why we always return.
Because deep down, everyone has their silent little addiction. And accepting that, without judgment, already makes a big difference.
