FffEAR THE STAGE🎸

During my years in CEGEP, I did theater. I spent my days memorizing lines, getting on stage, and feeling the raw energy that only acting can offer. There was something magical about living a role, transforming it into something personal, while sharing it with an audience.
And that’s when I began to connect what I was experiencing in theater to rock music. That intensity. That urgency. That need to shout something to the world.
Creating a character is like dissecting a chicken. Every part counts. Nothing is left to chance. You observe, you analyze, you feel. You must understand the smallest details, the folds of its story, its silences and its bursts of energy. Then comes the moment when you embody it, when you bring it to life in your own way. It’s a process of construction — or reconstruction.
And it’s exactly the same when it comes to creating a song. Every note, every word, every silence is thought through, felt, lived. Then, piece by piece, the album takes shape. A whole born from fragments. A work born from introspection, chaos, and heart.
Whether theater or music, we’re always talking about the same thing: creating something real from nothing.
I created this playlist to recapture that same energy I felt back then — whether on stage or listening to my favorite bands. It’s rock, alternative, punk. It’s raw, it’s vibrant, it’s alive.
And if you’ve ever dreamed of being part of a band touring the world... you’re in the right place.
* What's CEGEP? It is a unique level of education in the province of Quebec, Canada. It’s an intermediate step between high school and university. It typically lasts two or three years and focuses on both general education (like high school) and specialized programs that prepare students for university or technical careers. Think of it as a combination of high school and the first two years of college in the U.S. or the UK.
